The Swan is in the perfect position opposite the church. The breakfast was good, my partner had a very nice steak for dinner in the evening.

I could see the hotel was short of staff, so this is probably a bit unfair, but it took a while to get some coffee at breakfast.

I use to be a regular at the Swan about three years ago. It use to be good value but now the prices seem to have increased significantly particularly the evening meals and the choice of food which I liked was not available. The rooms had been recently painted but the main problem which has not been addressed was the sound coming from the room below and when a doors closed they slammed shut.

Good clean room. Good large screen T.V. but better if it had Freesat rather than Freeview. Iron and ironing board, but poor iron. Excellent breakfast (and service) included in the price.

Over priced in my opinion. Unable to park in the hotel car park, I had to park in the public car park which meant I had to carry my luggage for about 100 metres up hill. Can be noisy from other guests in their rooms and chatter from people having a smoke in the car park.
